Sometimes we don’t give the love and appreciation that people are due while they are around to see or hear it. I said once, and I will say it again, this book didn’t come by itself. There was a whole village behind me, supporting me, and sometimes being the most delightful bullies! Check out some of the AWESOME people below. Many of them can be hired ;)
I have to start with one of my bullies. LOL. Dr. Ajita encouraged me to make what was a document on my computer into a book and then to actually share it! If you need some bull…I mean encouragement, then you should contact her. She has a great coaching program for folk looking to make Pajama Profits and/or grow their private practices.
Look another one of my bullies! No, seriously though, I was about to back out of the whole book thing but Dr. Joy announced it to the world on Three for Thursdays, then checked to make sure I was gonna do it. Anyway, if you don’t know, Dr. Joy created Therapy For Black Girls, which is a great place to find a therapist and an awesome podcast to learn some thangs!
I don’t know how many of you are familiar with 1/2 of the dynamic Afrosexology Duo, but if you don’t know, now you do. Dalychia is an amazing sex educator, professor, speaker, and event planner. But, see, i got to know her for an almost hidden talent…DESIGN. Dalychia designed the workbook from the colors to the font! While you may not be able to hire her for design work, you can likely hire her for some other work!
The lovely ladies that grace the front and back cover the book, well, Esther did that! It’s like she plucked them right out of my head and made them into a gorgeous reality! She is an amazing artist, you should work with her if you get the chance.
This man right here, he created the faces we know and love for the feelings chart! He does design work and I think it would. Graphic designer on deck! Get your work done!
Roe came recommended for her artistry. What I can tell you is that it was not only easy to work with her, but enjoyable. She was able to hone in one what I was looking for an execute it!
